1.priority is high .Here severity is also high since the name change is in the login button.

1. Priority is high
2. Whereas Severity in this case is "Major" since the name change is in the login button

Hi Sumit.
Although its not affecting the functionality ,when a user is seeing this means a bad feeling to the site.Thats why I told the severity is high.For eg: for the website of a company ,if the spelling of that company is wrong,then its a bad impression.Am I right?

If it is web based application then high severity and low priority but vice versa in window based.

Dear Sumit,

Myself agreed with your point. Actually the priority was High, but severity not much, becoz its not affected any our system functionality. Hope, the severity was Major.

@Ajith, My option was wrong, please correct me.

As I think it should have Low Severity and High Priority.

Severity should be low as it is not affecting any functionality.

@Ajith - According to you when a user see this, it puts bad impression on it, thats why we are assigning high priority.

Although its not affecting functionallity, Mohit told that it puts bad impression.That bad impression is the impact of that bug.I think that impact is high thats why i told the severity is high

It means every bug related to spelling mistakes/ word interchange should put as high severity. Because it shows that the developer don't know the spellings/meaning of the word.

Infact every bug found by the client put bad impression on him so does it means that we assign high severity to every bug.
