Mike,

Do you have a demonstration video so we can see your tool in action?

Thanks
Nathan..

Hi Sandeep,

Tester Bench now works behind a proxy.
http://www.testjquery.com/tester_bench_download.html

Proxy "host:port" is configured manually in the config file.
Automatic discovery of proxy using wpad and proxy.pac methods is also implemented, but may fail in complex configuration; in which case you can put in your proxy host manually, anyway. Automatic proxy discovery will be finalized in the next release.

Best regards,
Mike

You are absolutely right. The current Beta will not work behind a proxy that needs to be configured in your system settings. Tester Bench overrides the local system proxy settings for the test purposes, and some resources are currently stored on the product host.
In the next release the dependency on the product host will be removed, which will allow you testing within your intranet, behind your firewall/proxy.
Transparent proxy wouldn't be a problem in this case.

Hey Mike,
A really good concept.
I was trying to run your demo script and observed that the sample AUT is not opening.

One of the observations i found.

1.The Connection setting is changed to 127.0.0.1 with port number 8098 and its trying to access the http://www.testerbench.com/support/start.htm?0.3649193735528916.
I am behing a firewall/proxy.

Hello,

We are preparing a test automation tool which is specifically tuned for the jQuery audience, but not only.

Test control language is javascript with jQuery. Some other language extensions are integrated, in order to simplify the control of the mouse, and to simplify validation of various values and conditions.

Mouse and keyboard events are not synthetic, they are fully emulated by the OS agent, therefore within the browser all user actions can be scheduled in a realistic way, as if they are done by the real user.

The tool is very easy to install, and it does not require any additional setup. It should take less than 10 minutes to install and start using it.
The package is available here: http://www.testjquery.com/tester_bench_download.html

If you are working with jQuery (whichever version), this tool should integrate in your workflow nicely.

Our small team will be very happy to receive any feedback which could help us shaping the ongoing development.

There is a demo script available: http://www.testjquery.com/tester_bench_demo.html which has a few scripting examples.

Any response will be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Mike.
