Update from TestersDesk.com

Dear member,

Here are a few updates from www.TestersDesk.com that you may want to make a note. During this time of market turbulence, we remain focused in building a world-class product that will help Software functionality testers in a variety of ways from Test Design to Test Data generation to Test Diagnosis to may other perspectives. Our research team believes that testers can be more creative in ensuring value-assurance to the end-users when they can offload mundane tasks to technology tools and utilities.

1. We are on track for the first full release of our online product for Christmas 2008. Besides the partly functioning yet useful features available today in the early beta version, we will have a Fieldset Test Case Generator that automates the design of routine test cases from the coverage perspective, a variety of data generators and more. Once we reach that point, the product will be available in four different ways. All the existing users will become FREE members of our Online Community Edition. There will be an Online Premium Edition that provides more value at a throw-away price, and for companies that see our solution as a perfect fit, we offer it through Dedicated Hosting or as an In-house Deployment without any soft limitation on the number of testers who use it.
2. For the users of our Online Community Edition, we have a Discussion Forum setup at TestRepublic (www.testrepublic.com). We thank the TestRepublic folks for having this place created, and request you all to post any questions/suggestions/ideas/complaints/etc in ‘TestersDesk.com Discussion Forum’ listed at http://www.testrepublic.com/forum. You can read below for more on the recently evolving ecosystem Test Republic. As you will find, you can leverage more than just our product forum when you get into it (like videos, challenges etc).
3. Acknowledging our efforts to advance the application of technology in Software Test Engineering, we have been awarded “Testing Thought Leadership” award at Test2008 held in New Delhi. We thank Pure Conferences for the recognition. Test2008 was a great event having so much participation from so many countries. It was a learning experience for us. The Best Innovation of the Year award from HYSEA (certified by Ernst and Young) and the Testing Thought Leadership award at Test2008, both of which were awarded before the final product release, make us burn our midnight candles to ensure the foreseen value to Software Testers.

Thanks,
Ashwin.

Hi Ashwin,
I was trying to use the testersdesk for SQL injection but it seems it is not working in my case. I am trying to test the login page. When I tried manual injection on login page, it works but when tried with testersdesk, i am not getting any output. It just browses the URL.
I am passing following parameters:
URL:http://localhost/MemberServices/login.aspx
Target_Field:TXtPwd
TxtMemID,130
TXtPwd,dummyvalue
Submit,Login

Do you want to come to our company and present a demo of Testersdesk to QA Department? I can request the senior authorities in my company if you are interested in giving a demo to our company in Banjara hills? It will definitely be useful to us.
