We have criterias defined in our projects on when to stop testing (which most of the time never work).
I feel the heuristics "When do we stop a test" by Michael Bolton lists almost all possible cases when we actually stop testing.

When I started in testing I used to hear a lot of waterfall model (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waterfall_model), though I had never heard any one using it. May be it is DEAD :)

Mohit, there are times when we might have to provide bug tracker access to customers, so at those times it helps if we could choose a specific project or specific modules.

Though I have never tested applications on a mobile handset, I have tested application on embedded device like a DPF, etc.
Some key tests we run when testing on a embedded device are
- battery life - audio/ video applications, streaming, etc could…
Some features i like in some of my favorite bug tracking tools.
- The pages should load fast. There should be no significant delay when navigating thru the tool.
- It should be easily customizable, mandatory fields, specific fields based on project…

Questioning the existence of Groups in Online Communities?
Hi All,
I have observed that there is very less activity in the groups created in online communities like that of Test Republic or even Software testing club. What could be the reason?
I feel groups in an online community should try bring people with similar mindset closer but a common trend observed is that the groups get created faster but less or no activity is observed in the following months.
I personally feel posting in the main page could give my question/reply more visibility than pos… Continue
